This was the run that bent the stock rod and busted a ringland with 685rwtq. The motor had about 300 sprayed 1/4 passes though, so it was tired. GM sure got it right with the LS6. What had happened was, when I went to the 285rwhp shot, I decided to pull another 4 degrees of timing, well according to the logs this run was with 24 degrees. So the speculation in the begining that timing was the issue really doesn't hold water. It was the total torque on a tired LS6, that bent a rod. Now was the ringland timing or the bent rod, I would say the bent rod? 

We had about 30 cars here this day. The car also got over all numbers win. My buddies Z06 took highest Hp though in the turbo class. However, we still had a blast. The Z06 has a high of 644rwhp and 717rwtq so far, stay tuned, lol.
