Chevelle Rob found out that even a tune that has been run for some time, may not be exactly correct. This was a 300hp hit with 180hp coming on at 2900rpm and the rest right behind with all in at .05 sec. Not sure what cause the head gasket to go, other than likely detonation. This is why I don't like spraying to low of an RPM. Anything goes wrong and you can hurt parts easily when at this low of a rpm to start spraying. I will update as more info comes in. The cause of the detonation, which resulted in the head gasket popping, could be a number of things. However, IMO, may not have been much an issue should the on RPM been set higher? Be safe on your tunes to enjoy a long motor life. Robert

This is my main reason I don't like the wet hits on the Corvette. If you have a backfire, then the plastic intake explodes, igniting the fuel spraying from the dislodged fuel rails. You won't have an explosion like this with a dry hit and no fuel in your intake. all the burn down videos you will see are from wet hits.
This car is wicked fast, a sprayed and NANO'ed ride beats all of the Turb(s), blowers, big CI and all N/A comers for the fastest 6-speed run ever.
Yep a 383ci n/a run and this one was a 9.5 ET. he know holds the all time record @ 9.3, IIRC. it's a M6, not the Z06 M12 and has been faceplated for quicker shifting.
The mighty LS7 does it again. Carlos @ Vette-Air installed one of his "Lucifer" cams, and well the rest is history. it also has 1 3/4 American race headers, front skinnies, ported/milled stock heads and tuned by Carlos as the only engine mods. GM got it right! Owner/driver is/was Chris Martin, from California.

Lingenfelter prepared ZR1 is the fastest in all the land. don't know the full details, but it kill the new GTR, which many claimed would never happen. I heard that it's only tuned and motor is still stock, but can not verify at this time.
