I will add some comments after we are done with a debate on plate styles on one of the forums. This one is a top out-let, single location,  style discharge from NO.

Some are reporting lean cylinder issues (not me) and in particular, IIRC, the front two being effected the most by this style of nitrous injection. To me it looks as if the spray will blast right to the floor of the plenum. This could, and would, explain the lean issue as the fuel drop out and puddling would be extreme. One of the other style plates use a perimeter style injection and 360 degree pattern and sure seems better for distribution, and also for atomization. Why better at atomization too? Well, if the mix is hitting the floor of the plenum it turns the fuel mist in to droplets, and puddles how can that be good for continued atomization, where as the 360 style fully enters the plenum with out any fuel puddling or drop out. Even so, this style plate has worked for many (wonder if they ever check all 8 plugs), but I would be careful going with any size hit above 100/150hp where the cylinder pressures become such that any lean problems can soon be engine failure problems. Point, is, watch your tune and read all plugs as you go up in size, watching for potential and possible issues.
