NANO Kit Installs

Currently installs can be seen at the bottom of the NANO-Kits & Information section. We have many more to add, so please bare with us. Thanks

'06 350 Z Glove Box NANO Mount

This vehicle belongs to NitrousForum.com member BakaN2O and is one very unique install. The link below the pictures has all the details on this 2006 350 Z as well as a quickie NANO install how-to.

C6 Corvette Dual 4500 Series & Carbon Fiber Bottles

The next three pictures belong to Corvetteforum member Mr Bonds: dual 10lb NANO set-up with carbon fiber bottles. Very Trick. These are the 4500psi Series NANO kits with NOS Super Flow bottle valves.

C5 Corvette Convert & Single 3000 Series

A very clean install by huskerC5ragtop at the Corvetteforum, below. Looks as though the tire well cover will just about cover things back up. (note: braided NANO interface line has since been moved to the correct port on the N2O bottle as it uses a NX valve, see below for more info, also temp sticker goes on the N2O bottle)

'04/05/06 GTO & Single 4500 Series

This set-up, below belongs to BillyGoatGruff and is installed into the trunk of his GTO. Notice the unique way which the NANO bottle was added, hose clamps, a way which we can add a NANO bottle to any kit. Bottles are angled to get the best pick-up under acceleration.

NX 45 Degree Valve Correct Gauge Port

The first picture is of Corvetteforum member Beer and the install on his C5. Note the port that has the NANO interface braided line connected. This is the correct port/side when running a NX 45 degree bottle valve like this. The second picture shows the correct port with an arrow, and the opposite side port would be for a pressure gauge. The pressure gauge port is hooked in with the siphon tube, where as the NANO port is open to the top of the bottle. So different ports for different uses, be carfull.

C5 Z06 Corvette 10lb 4500 Series

Here is the correct NANO port for the HSW N2O bottle.  Added a gauge port adapter so I could remount the pressure gauge. This is a 4500psi NANO Kit. This also is an install I did and is featured in the C5/C6 bottle install How-To.

C5 Corvette Coupe 10lb 3000 Series

This NANO install belongs to Corvette-Chris from the Corvetteforum. It powers a dry stage 1 and a wet stage 2. This is a 3000psi Series NANO kit.

Temp Sticker and NANO Bracket Mount Option

Proper spot for the temp gauge sticker on your NANO set-up.

Be sure to follow the directions on the temp gauge installing.

It goes under the main NANO sticker in the clear window.

Here is an easy way to mount your NANO bottle(s). These brackets come with many different kits and you may have them already. The next couple pictures are self explanatory and are my Z06 with the dual 15lb bottles and 15lb NANO kits. I would love to have the nice billet brackets, but tried to just do a nice clean simple install with the stock mounts. There is still some detail work to be done, like painting the N20 bottles black.

C5 Z06 Corvette Dual 15lb 4500 Series

These are my personal dual 15lb bottles and dual 4500psi NANO kits in my Z06. Not bad looking, but plan on going billet brackets some time in the future. I used the same basic securing system as the C5/C6 Bottle Mount How-To, and used the above mounting of the NANO brackets to the N2O bottle brackets. So using those two installs, you can go dual bottles and use the stock brackets that come in most kits.

F-Body 10lb 3000 Series

A 3000psi series mounted to a 10lb bottle in the trunk of an F-Body, and belongs to Jeff Pelc.

2005 Roush Mustang 10lb 4500 Series

This is a '05 Roush Mustang trunk mount, and runs a 4500psi kit. The owner is Charles Lewis.

1955 Chevrolet "Evil Twin" 4500 Series

Evil Twin in a 510ci Pro Street '55 Chevy. Owner is GE Filger and was the Evil Twin Beta tester. Ran a 7.89 with NANO.

The Relationship Temp vs PSI

BOTTLE TEMPERATURE & NITROUS PRESSURE INFO

The Relationship Between Bottle Temperatures and Nitrous Pressure

Tech note: The lower the ambient temperature, the lower the resultant bottle pressure leading to a potential fuel rich condition. Although usually not harmful to the engine, loss of optimal power can occur. On the other hand, very high ambient temperatures can lead to leaner burning conditions and loss of optimal performance as well as possible damage to engine components. NOS gauges are an excellent way to monitor problems before they can occur.

NOTE: NOS recommends a bottle pressure of 950 psi for optimum performance.
