• A little story for insight: Nate Pritchett of "Pinks" fame lost his Hot-Rod on National TV, due to his bottle heater. What happened was he was trying to heat his bottle to get the pressure back up to optimum for another run. Well this in fact drained his battery, and IIRC, he could not make the round due to car not having enough power to start/crank up. You will never have this problem with a NANO system. Also, due to the heater and subsquent battery draining, many do not realize that this is a big reason for solenoids not opening and losing races (most will blame other factors). Some individual solenoids can take 20 amps to open. So if we happen to have drained the battery somewhat with the heater, after a run, we now have a comprimised charging system trying to re-charge the battery, supply power for fans, lights, PCM, re-charge of battery and so on. Now all of sudden we have two solenoids that need a combined 30 amps, well one or both may not open, or partialy open, as the stock alternators only put out about 30/40 amps. Any serious nitrous user will soon see the must have effect of running a NANO Nitrogen Assit system. A mandatory component, just like heaters were in the past. I believe heaters to now be a dated technology

I have really seen the light concerning running a "Push" type system (NANO is not a true push system and thus the "Nitrogen Assist"). I loved the fact that we got rid of my troublesome bottle heaters and got a nice pair of the 15lb NANO bottles installed, and it's now NHRA approved. It is very trick, IMO.

The original kit that started the "Nitrous Performance Revolution". The NANO 4500 series regulators are driven by 4500psi of air or nitrogen. Even though I introduce the kits as nitrogen assisted, the kits can work equally as well with compressed air (HPA). I guess I also do this to differentiate the "Push System" of old, and introduce the new assist technology, they are different, more on that else where. The 4500 series has an entry level price of $522.99 (see the NHRA Sale price) and is targeting those that are sensitive to weight, size, looks and a higher HP/Performance gain. These kits weigh in at only 6lbs -vs- 9lbs for the 3000 series, and are 2'' shorter and 1/4" smaller in diameter. A much cleaner look for those mounting to the, or near the Nitrous bottle; for a true custom on display look.  These kits will support up to 550hp using the NOS Super High Flow bottle valve included in the Competition kits, and up to 350hp using the NANO "Sport" bottle valve. The end user supplied valves, for the Universal Kits, will vary depending on manufacture but generally will support 300hp or more at 4500psi. Higher than 550hp requires staging of two NANO kits and we have a kit to cover that, the "Evil Twin" and the new "Monster Twin", and both kits based on the 4500 series technology. Please read on and learn about each particular 4500 series kit, as we can now go upwards of 1200hp and flow .85lbs/sec of nitrous. Yes, that is a 1200hp nitrous shot we are talking about; no racers will be left behind technology wise.

NANO3000 Sport 10lb kit

This is the new complete lower cost kit we have all been waiting for. The NANO3000 series regulator is driven by 3000psi of air or nitrogen. This kit comes with the NANO standard N2O bottle valve which supports 30-250hp. The limiting factor is the different bottle and 3000psi limitcompared to the 4500psi in the 4500series. This kit was designed for those that can't use their existing bottle valve and who is price conscious, with a hit not exceding 250hp.
